Issues
Cathedral City is a city ripe with opportunity. I look at our current infrastructure and see areas we can improve. Our parks and facilities can be even better. Our local streets can be better. Our local programs can be better supported and improved. We are a community with a diverse makeup that includes both old and young. Our emergency planning could have been better during tropical storm Hilary. Let's not let failed leadership, or lack there of, define our Community. It's time for a better Cathedral City. Elect leadership that isn't only around when there are cameras present.
Some key initiatives:
1- Improving Emergency preparedness
2- Focus on improving our community resources such as a developing a community center with programs for our young and old.
3- Focus on business growth and opportunity. We can be a City where people live and work. Small business is the lifeline for any City. We should be no different and provide opportunities for everyone to have the American dream. We need to grow local sales tax revenue.
4- Inclusive government. All citizens should have a voice and right to be heard. Under represented community outreach will be a priority.
5- Sound fiscal policies and accountability. No backroom deals to pave alleys or neighborhood streets where our council people live or own businesses. Deficit spending is not a path forward. Whether we improve our grant processes or go after State and Federal funds, we need a voice who will be active at all levels to drive money to our City.

Support for Small Business
We have an abundance of empty retail space. Having met with many small business owners in our City they all share the same sentiment, that this is not an easy place to start a business. My goal is to change that. Let's eliminate the red tape and bureaucracy. I want to develop a incubator and commissary for businesses to get started. Read More
